1. Who We Are

ChoreBlaster operates the choreblaster.com platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when parents and guardians use ChoreBlaster for their household.

2. Information We Collect

We collect account information such as the parent or guardian email address used to sign in. We also store household data you enter into ChoreBlaster, including kid first names or nicknames, avatars, chores, point values, completion history, rewards, redemptions, parent notifications, and app settings. Payment details are handled by Stripe; ChoreBlaster does not store full card numbers.

3. Children's Data

ChoreBlaster is designed for parents and guardians. Children do not create their own ChoreBlaster accounts. Child-related data is entered by the parent or guardian and should be limited to first names, nicknames, avatars, chores, and reward activity. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to us without parental consent, contact us at hello@choreblaster.com.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to provide the service, authenticate accounts, run household chore and reward workflows, process subscriptions, send transactional messages such as reminders or reports, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve ChoreBlaster. We do not sell household data or use it for third-party advertising.

5. Third-Party Services

ChoreBlaster uses trusted service providers including Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email delivery, and managed database infrastructure for app data. These providers process information only as needed to help us operate the service.

6. Notifications and Email

If you enable reminders or reports, ChoreBlaster may send push notifications or email messages related to chores, rewards, badges, subscriptions, and household progress. Device and browser notification permissions can be changed at any time in your device or browser settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain household data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account or household data by contacting us at hello@choreblaster.com. We may retain limited records where required for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS and authenticated access to parent account areas. No system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You can update household data from the parent dashboard, cancel paid subscriptions from account settings, manage notification permissions in your browser or device, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by email, in-app notice, or another reasonable method.
